My heart floats in the Bay

October 25

Wow, been a long time since I’ve written anything here. We’ve moved to Silicon Valley. That’s 7 or 8 moves in the past 10 years. And moving still sucks.

I’m working for an awesome semi-startup in San Francisco named Mercantila. I say semi ’cause they’ve been around for about 10 years already, so they’ve pretty solidly started. They’re an ecommerce company in the vein of Etsy (specialty shops) but it’s mostly higher-end items, like exercise equipment and beds. My job is to fix problems and make sure no new ones crop up.

Joe and Elaine are enjoying the new city. It’s very nice to be away from the heat and flatness of Vegas. Believe it or not, Vegas is a kind of boring city to live in. We haven’t done anything exciting here yet, either, but it feels a lot better.

Well, just a small update while waiting for Indian food to take home. Later.

Hey man, just dropping in to say hi and wow, a lot has been going on since the NaNo days. Hope the Silicon Valley move will be your last one for awhile and everything is working out.
